The Sky-Eagle Retrospective: Redefining Native Avant-Garde Fashion at Bishop’s
Lodge, a 3-day event, is set to take place at Bishops Lodge during the 2023 Santa Fe Indian Market. The event, presented by the Sky-Eagle Fashion House and Native and Veteran Fashion Designer Dante Biss-Grayson, in collaboration with the Bishops Lodge, redefines fashion by celebrating cultural heritage through bold, innovative designs inspired by Dante Biss-Grayson's visionary works and his muse, Yanti.
The event explores the sensitivities within Native communities and creates a runway show that is inclusive for all to join and be inspired. A pop-up shop, in collaboration with Prados Beauty, offering limited-edition pieces from the Sky-Eagle Collection, will be open throughout the three-day event, featuring Roanhorse Designs by Addie Roanhorse. The event will be covered by Dark Whisper Productions.
In a statement to the fashion industry, ALL models and staff will be paid for this event. The Sky-Eagle Collection is changing the narrative and leading from the front to inspire the Fashion industry to reflect and do better.
On day one, 100 runway looks from the collection will be showcased, with music
collaborations, solo songs, dances, and cutting edge Native Fashion. This will be
followed by a panel discussion of Native entrepreneurs hosted by Yahoo! on day two.
On day three, there will be a limited-edition launch of the Sky-Eagle Resort Collection. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go towards the Native Forward Scholarship, a program that supports Native American students pursuing higher education. The event celebrates cultural heritage, fashion, and innovation.

Biss-Grayson advocates for issues impacting Native Communities, bringing awareness to inspire action. The brand aims to empower its New Warriors, designed for all to enjoy, further looking at the idea of the “Warrior” as any gender in roles advocating for a true image of Native Americans.
The event is set to take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the 2023 Santa Fe Indian Market (August 18, 19, 20) at Bishops Lodge, Santa Fe NM. The event promises to be an immersive, exclusive, and artful runway adventure that pushes the boundaries of how fashion is defined.
The event is open to the public, with VIP and GA tickets available. The VIP ticket
includes a pre-show party, runway show, after soiree party, and VIP reception.
