LAWTON, Okla - Comanche Nation Entertainment has promoted longtime team members Jay Martinez and Shandi Tahhahwah. Martinez, previously General Manager of Comanche Red River Hotel Casino is now General Manager of Comanche Red River Hotel Casino, Comanche War Pony Casino and Comanche Star Casino. Tahhahwah, previously General Manager of Comanche Cache Casino, is now General Manager of Comanche Spur Casino and Comanche Nation Casino.
"Jay and Shandi have shown exceptional leadership and operational expertise throughout their careers with Comanche Nation Entertainment,” said Steven Doyle, interim CEO. “Both have been pivotal in their commitment to optimizing guest and team member experience, which has been critical in our growth as one of the best entertainment companies in the state."
Martinez and Tahhahwah manage the strategic and operational management of their respective properties, focusing on budget oversight, team leadership and fostering collaborative environments to ensure excellence across all levels of operations.
Tahhahwah brings more than 14 years of industry experience to her role and has worked with Comanche Nation Entertainment since 2007. She has held a variety of positions within the company including operations manager, marketing manager and internal auditor with the Comanche Nation Gaming Commission, where she also contributed to writing the Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
Martinez also brings with him over a decade of experience, having served in every department of Comanche Nation Entertainment’s casino operations. One of his major projects was the implementation of a state-of-the-art sanitization and air filtration system at Comanche Spur Casino. The sanitization system, which was installed at every Comanche Nation Entertainment property following the success of the system he installed, was one of the most advanced cleaning systems put into place by any company in Southwest Oklahoma.
