MUSKOGEE - Bacone College named its 2015-2016 Miss Indian Bacone on Oct. 15. Torrii Crittenden, Cherokee, from Westville, Okla. is a radiology major and plays for the Bacone softball team.
 
The pageant was sponsored by the Bacone Native American Student Association.
 
Runners-up were Sarah Brixey, Cherokee; Kylar Foshee, Choctaw; and Sara Whitehead, Chickahominy Tribe of Virginia.
 
Judges for the pageant were Carmen Sankey, 2015-2016 Miss Indian Oklahoma; Emma Washee 2015-2016 Arapaho Tribal Princess; Jana Taylor, Muskogee Public Schools Indian Education college and career counselor and 2012 Miss Indian Bacone.
 
The outgoing 2014-2015 Miss Indian Bacone is Jada Silverhorn.
 
Other visiting princesses include Faithlyn Seawright, 2015-2016 Jr. Miss Indian Oklahoma; Madison Reavis, 2015-2016 Miss NASA Muskogee Public Schools; Spring Chalakee, 2015-2016 Jr. Miss NASA Muskogee Public Schools; Cortnie Crockett, Muskogee Public Schools NASA Ambassador; and Robyn Chanate, Strawberry Festival Bell Pow Wow Princess.
