“The Love of Ledger Art” show going on through February

NORMAN – There’s a place in Norman where people can indulge themselves in the history, culture and celebration of Native American art.

“A visit to Tribes is a visual feast,” Leslie Zinbi, owner of Tribes 131 Fine Art & Gift Gallery, said. “Within the walls one will find historical, abstract, contemporary, traditional and pop art, pottery, baskets, textiles, beadwork, bronzes, alabaster carvings, cultural items, books, contemporary and traditional jewelry, including the largest collection of Squash Blossom necklaces in the area.”

“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn’t hurt.” Charles M. Schultz

February is National Chocolate Lovers Month and many Chickasaw Nation-owned businesses offer unique options to celebrate the sweet observance, beginning with Bedré Fine Chocolate.
