PONCA CITY – Osage Casino announced today the opening of its newest upscale Osage Casino and Hotel in Ponca City. The 89,817-square-foot facility is designed by Marnell Architecture, the firm that designed the Rio Hotel and Casino and The Bellagio.

The property consists of new casino floor space and offers six table games, more than 345 electronic games, a restaurant, bar and multi-purpose event center. The casino was built by Osage Manhattan Builders, a majority 51 percent Osage-owned company that provides construction management, general contracting and design/build services.

ROLAND, Okla. (AP) — A casino in eastern Oklahoma operated by Cherokee Nation Businesses will be replaced with a newer, larger complex featuring a hotel, officials said.

The Journal Record reported Thursday that the new facility in Roland near the Arkansas border will include a six-story, 125-room hotel and an 87,000-square-foot casino accommodating 850 games with a bar, stage and other entertainment options. The existing casino in Roland now has 600 electronic games and six table games.

ROLAND, Okla. (AP) – The Cherokee Nation has broken ground on a new $80 million casino and hotel in eastern Oklahoma.

The new 170,000-square-foot Cherokee Casino & Hotel in Roland will offer 850 electronic games, table games and a private poker room. A six-story hotel and convention space as well as a cafe and buffet will also be built.
